Booktrust Author visit

K. N. chimbiri - The story of the windrush 

Tuesday 13th June 20233, supported by the booktrust, Year 5 had a very special author visit K.N. Chimbiri who has written a selection of books including - The story of the Windrush. The author spoke to the children about the book,  how this was a key part of her life and what the Windrush was. The children had the opportunity to ask her questions about her writing and the process she goes through. The children were then very fortunate to each receive a signed personal copy of 'The story of the Windrush'. A huge thank you to the booktrust for organising this for our pupils.
