Coronation celebration day - Friday 5th may 2023

On Friday 5th May 2023, the day before the coronation of King Charles III, the children celebrated in school. The children arrived dressed as kings, queens, princes, princesses or a dressed to attend a royal event walking into school companied by the coronation song Zadok the priest. The children then took part in a royal parade, shared a special coronation lunch before playing traditional garden party games in the afternoon. A wonderful day was enjoyed by all. The children and staff also received a special coronation pin badge as a way to celebrate and remember this special event.
